Transfor robots are industrial robots that can be automated for handling operations. The earliest transfor robots appeared in 1960 in the United States, the two styles of Versatran and Unimate robots were used for handling operations for the first time. Handling operation is that using a device to hold the workpiece, and moving the transfor robot can be fitted with different end actuators to perform various workpieces handling in different shapes and conditions.

That greatly reduces the heavy manual labor of human. At present, more than 100,000 transfor robots are used in automatic assembly line, palletizing, container and so on. Some developed countries have drawn up the maximum amount of manual handling, the work which is more than the limit must be carried by the handling robot to complete.

The series joint robot usually has four or six rotating axises, and is similar to the human arm, more flexible, the load of them is larger, they are used for handling heavier items. SCARA robot is a horizontal multi-joint robot, and have faster work frequency,that is particularly suitable for handling goods in laboratory automation, medicine, consumer electronics, food, automotive, PC peripherals, semiconductors, plastics, home appliances and aerospace industry.

Delta robot belongs to a parallel robot. Delta robots are mainly used for handling, assembling food, medicine and electronic products and so on. Delta robot is widely used in the market because of its light weight, small size, fast moving speed, accurate positioning, low cost and high efficiency. China is in the critical moment of the industrial transformation and upgrading, more and more enterprises introduce industrial robots in the manufacturing process, it will profoundly affect all aspects of Chinese-made.
