3 Abrahamic Tradition 亞伯拉罕的傳統
Abraham (Abram), a native of Chaledeans (Aramaean migrant to the city of Ur), in south marsh-land of Babylonian, lived around 1900BC~1800BC. First dynasty of Babylon. The family later emigrate north to Syria, then finally to Palestine. Out of Abrahamic Tradition, come out 1) Hebrew and Hebraism (3716BC) 2) Christian and Christianity (4AD) 3) Islam and Islamism (570AD)

4 Christian and Christianity
＊Christian — The follower (disciples)of Jesus Christ were first called as Christian around 43AD at church of Antioch (Act ) ＊Follower — to follow what ever Jesus Christ has done, one must understand what he did, i,e, to understand the life history of Jesus Christ — 4 Gospels in the Bible.

5 Christianity 基督宗教 All aspects of Christ, or Christology. History of Christians’ life experience, Christian philosophy and theological thinking are called Christianity. i,e, life of Jesus Christ, St. Paul, St. Francis of Assisi, Albert Schweitzer, Sister Mother Teresa,etc.

6 Jesus’ Teaching Example one: (Matthew 22: 34~40)
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question(其中有一位法律專家，試問祂說)：“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”(老師，在律法中哪一條是最大的誡命！)Jesus replied 『Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and the greatest commandment. And the second is like it : “ Love your neighbor as yourself !” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandment.” ?』(耶穌回答說：你要盡心盡性盡意愛主你的上帝，這是誡命中的第一且是最大的。其次也相仿，就是愛人如己，這兩條誡命是律法和先知一切道理的總綱。) 』

7 Jesus' Teaching Example Two:
The Great Commission 大的委託(Matthew 28: 16~20): Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said :『All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and malee disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.』— That is why St. Paul, St. Franas of Assisi did.

8 馬太福音28章16～20節 『有十一個門徒往加利利去，到了耶穌約定的山上。他們見了耶穌就拜祂。然後還有人疑惑。耶穌進前來對他們說天上地下所有的權柄都賜給我了，所以你們要去使萬民作我的門徒，奉父子、聖靈的名給他們施洗。凡我所委任你們的，都教導他們尊守。我就常與你們同在，直倒是世界末了。就也是聖保羅及聖法蘭西斯，所以做了他們做的事。』

9 Jesus’ Teaching Example Three (Matthew 20：26～27)
Jesus called them together and said ：『you know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave. Just as the Son of Man (Jesus) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.』

10 馬太福音20章26～27節 耶穌叫了他們來說：『你們知道不信的人中，有君王治理他們，有大臣掌權管束他們。只是在你們中間不可這樣，你們中間誰要願為大，就必作你們的用人，誰願為首，就必作你們的僕人；就像人子來，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人。並且要捨命，作為人的贖價。』這就是基督教的生活哲學。也是史懷哲、德蕾莎修女一生所做的事 ～ 就是信仰的追尋。

11 My Personal Interpretation of “Christian”
基督—徒 ～ 徒是學徒， 徒是空無所有，如徒手。 Christian — Christ, I.A.N. i ～ I A ～ Am N ～ Nothing 所以要謙遜、謙卑、學習。
