7 Discipleship in Parenting
1. It has to be Voluntary 66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. 67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

8 Discipleship in Parenting
1. It has to be Voluntary 自願的 Don’t ever underestimate men’s desire for Freedom

16 耶和華 神吩咐他說:「園中各樣樹上的果子,你可以隨意吃, 17 只是分別善惡樹上的果子,你不可吃,因為你吃的日子必定死!」 9 The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

11 Large Boundary with A LOT of Freedom

16 耶和華 神吩咐他說:「園中各樣樹上的果子,你可以隨意吃, 17 只是分別善惡樹上的果子,你不可吃,因為你吃的日子必定死!」 9 The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. 13 Large Boundary with A LOT of Freedom
- Guidelines on what NOT to do - Reason & Consequence when you go outside of the boundary. - For our own good!!!

4 The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

15 9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”
難道你吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那樹上的果子嗎?」 9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” 10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” 11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

16 Large Boundary with A LOT of Freedom

25 The END

26

6於是,女人見那棵樹的果子好作食物,又悅人的眼目,而且討人喜愛,能使人有智慧(給人有智慧的慾望),就摘下果子來吃了… 4 The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate… Pix taken from:

Did not get the Ability to Discern Right vs. Wrong
But merely the Desire to Discern Right vs. Wrong based on our own standards

1Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2 We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. 3 When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. 4 Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go.

30 Anger / Be Angry ≠ Sin Ephesians
BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity (or a place). Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. Anger / Be Angry ≠ Sin

But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
