When a Chinese baby is born, he/she is considered to be one year old. When the year turns, this baby will be considered to be two years old, even if he/she was born on December 31st and is only two days old. Time words: When the time word is used to indicate the time difference as tense function in English language, it is usually replaced in the front of a sentence before or after the subject.
