中-英农业科技项目 Ladies and gentlemen This talk is focused on the UK-China Research and Innovation Partnership Fund also known as the Newton Programme. Translating space based research methods and technologies to aid agriculture in China. Overview of the STFC Newton Agri-tech Programme. The aim of this is to describe the activities and My name is Hugh mortimer and I am the PI of this programme from the UK side and I am joined by th eprogramme managers Jon Stlyes and Andy Shaw This whole thing has come about through the long standing long standing partnership with Beihang which started in 2007 when Prof Fang and Prof Holdaway set up the joint laboratory. It actually started long time before this but officially this joint laboratory has been the pathway by which this programme could happen, so I wanted to thank BUAA and prof fang for his support of this.
