AMS-太空磁譜儀 丁肇中院士領軍、十三個國家及地區共同參與之國際合作計畫。 國內有中科院、中央大學及中研院參加。 人類首座太空磁譜儀。 目的: 精密觀測太空中之帶電粒子,以搜尋宇宙中之反物質,解開物質與反物質大尺度的不對稱之謎。 於1998年6月由《發現號太空梭》載運到340公里太空軌道上運轉10天。 預定於2003年底置於《國際聯合太空站(ISS)》,進行為期3-5年的實驗。 Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica
