Retirement is an on-going relentless effort in creativity, I've tried yoga, learned to cook, bought some plants, took classes in Mandarin, believe me I've tried everything. 7 Vocabulary Our investors just think that a seasoned CEO could take some things off your plate. take some things off your plate take off 是「脫掉」、「拿掉」的意思，而 plate 則是「盤子」，這句話字面上是指「拿 掉一些你盤子裡的東西」。但是看到安海瑟威那麼沮喪的臉，就知道這句話是有言 外之意的！這裡的 plate 很顯然不是指盤子而已，而是指「責任」、「工作」，意思就 是要把小安「降級」、甚至「辭退」啦！ investor (n.) 投資者 seasoned (adj.) 有經驗的

8 Vocabulary Mr. Congeniality Congeniality 其實是接近中文「人緣」的意思，指一個人心腸好、幽默、或是擁有其 他好的特質而使人喜歡。像是 Miss Congeniality 這部電影，中譯為《麻辣女王》， 但是其實是選美比賽中「最佳人緣小姐」的意思喔！另外，英文也很常用 Mr/Miss + 一項特質 這樣的形式來表示這個人是個怎樣的人，像是最常見的 Mr. Right 就 是「真命天子」，因為 right 有「正確的」意涵。

9 Vocabulary I'm Fiona, the house masseuse. Love that there's another oldie but goodie here. masseuse (n.) 女按摩師 oldie 影片中提到 oldie 是指「老人」，goodie 則 是指「可愛的人」。而這個字是源自於 -ie 這 個字尾。-ie 是「小的」、「可愛的」意思，在 英文中是非常常見的字尾，就像「selfie 」是 self+ie 表示「可愛的自己」，也就是「自拍 照」的意思啦！
