5 As at end-April 2009, a total of 108,271 elders aged 60 or above (about 8.9% ) have registered as volunteers with SWD, accounting for 13.4% of the total number of volunteers registered with SWD. 截至二○○九年四月底，共有108,271名六十歲或以上人士在社署登記成為義工，佔社署登記義工總人數13.4%，以及全港該年齡組別人口約8.96%

6 In the 2007 District Council Election, the number of registered electors aged 61 or above who cast their votes was about 292,000, accounting for 25.4% of the total number of electors casting their votes.  In the 2008 Legislative Council Election, the number of registered electors aged 61 or above who cast their votes was about 344,000, accounting for 22.6% of the total number of electors casting their votes.  在二○○七年區議會選舉中投票的六十一歲或以上登記選民約有292,000人，佔該選舉總投票人數25.4%。而在二○○八年立法會選舉中投票的六十一歲或以上登記選民約有344,000人，佔該選舉總投票人數22.6%。

7 At end-March 2009, of the 5,494 non-official members of ASBs appointed by the Government, 960 (17.5%) were aged 60 or above and 316 (5.8%) aged 65 or above. 截至二○○九年三月底，在5,494名獲政府委任的諮詢及法定組織非官方成員當中，共有960名（17.5%）為六十歲或以上人士，316名（5.8%）為六十五歲或以上人士。
