Look here!' 15 So note the two “day” in singular – v29 and v30
Luke 17: 29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 "It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. 31 "On that (ekeinos) day, the one who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back. 29 到羅得出所多瑪的那日、就有火與硫磺從天上降下來、把他們全都滅了。 30 人子顯現的日子、也要這樣。 31 當那日、人在房上、器具在屋裡、不要下來拿．人在田裡．也不要回家。 apokalupto - uncover ekeinos: person or thing immediately preceding or just mentioned. 18 Application – prosperity gospel
The Same as days of Noah and Lot …. Luke 17: 26 "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 "It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; The implication is that these will distract the world from looking for His return. Thus it cannot be in the Tribulation which is a time of suffering and not affluence.

Timing – just before Christ’s return Matthew 10:23 "But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes. 有人在這城裡逼迫你們、就逃到那城裡去．我實在告訴你們、以色列的城邑、你們還沒有走遍、人子就到了。 So the persecutions of Matt. 10 and Mk 13 will start before the Tribulation and ends when Christ returns. It is prophecy on intense persecutions on the Messianic Jews …..

But right after Mk. 10:13 is the invasion by the antichrist. Timing – before taking Jerusalem Mark 13: 13 "You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 "But when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. 15 "The one who is on the housetop must not go down, or go in to get anything out of his house; 13 並且你們要為我的名, 被眾人恨惡, 惟有忍耐到底的, 必然得救。 14 你們看見那行毀壞可憎的、站在不當站的地方．（讀這經的人、須要會意）那時在猶太的、應當逃到山上． 15 在房上的、不要下來、也不要進去拿家裡的東西． So persecution of Messianic Jews is mainly first 3½ yrs before the antichrist takes Jerusalem This is before the 2 witnesses have their powers

34 Other views (Matt. 10) Most take this as persecution before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Some (Campbell Morgan) says it is just an incidental word. BKC takes it as during Acts but will find the fullest manifestation during the tribulation.
