In this presentation I would like to briefly inform you on Europe the European Union and the opportunities to Chinese business in the European Union

2 广义上的的欧洲 Wider Europe has 51 different countries and has a population of , 35 official languages are spoken and a number of currencies are used

3 欧盟简介 The European Union where I will focus on has 27 member states and has a population of languages and one currency the Euro

4 欧盟主要产业 全世界34%的汽车都在欧洲制造 航空/国防 化学品 生物技术/环境保护行业 食品业
The main sectors for Chinese companies to focus on are the following, automotive still a growing sector in particular the parts industry, aerospace and defence are clearly reflected in the co-operation between the Chinese military and NATO. Chemicals in particular in powder form are vey much in demand in Europe and available in China. Bio tech and environmental industries are grown over the years in the EU and form a very attractive opportunity for Chinese companies. Food production with all the regulations are again a very good opportunity for investment

A vast number of Chinese business people have studied in Europe and links are there for co-operation in R&D activities. Combining knowledge and expertise will create a mutually beneficial way of operating very much appreciated by EU companies. Investing is buying knowledge there a number of Small Medium sized companies who are open to offers. Offering the Chinese businesses Made in Europe centres should be the start of co-operation and also give an indication of options A structure way of co-operation may also be a help to avoid extra taxes and import quota’s
