6 语法要点 词类 英语的词按意义、词形变化和句法作用等方面的特点通常分为十大类。其中，名词、代词、副词、动词等都具有词汇意义，在句子中可单独作为成分，称为实词；而介词、冠词、连词和感叹词等没有实义，用来表示词与词之间或句子以及句子各部分之间的关系或说话者的语气，故称为虚词。

7 语法要点 名词的用法 1．名词（noun）的定义：名词是用来表示人和物以及抽象概念等名词的词。
2．名词的分类：名词可分为专有名词和普通名词两大类。专有名词指表示人名、地名、国籍等的名词，其第一个字母要大写。例如：Jack（人名），English（国籍），Guangdong（地名）等。专有名词以外的名词为普通名词。普通名词又分为可数名词和不可数名词。可以计数的名词如map，family，desk 等称为可数名词；不可计数的名词如water，ice，paper等称为不可数名词，一般没有复数形式。

8 语法要点 名词的用法 3．名词的数 名词的数指名词的单复数形式。英语可数名词通常有复数形式，单数变复数的规则是在单数词尾加-s或-es 。如：mother — mothers，airport — airports等。但也有些可数名词具有不规则的复数形式。如：child — children，man — men 等。 4．名词后加’s 在名词后加’s 的结构被称为名词的所有格，表示所有关系。如：Tom’s desk (汤姆的书桌)

第二人称指说话的对象，即听话人； 第三人称指谈论的对象。
