Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:

5 主虽使人忧愁，还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。 33 因他并不甘心使人受苦，使人忧愁。
Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. 33 For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men. - Lamentations 3:32

Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; 12 if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; 13 if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself Timothy 2:11

13 我心里说，耶和华是我的分，因此，我要仰望他。 25 凡等候耶和华，心里寻求他的，耶和华必施恩给他。 26 人仰望耶和华，静默等候他的救恩，这原是好的。 27 人在幼年负轭，这原是好的。 28 他当独坐无言，因为这是耶和华加在他身上的。 29 他当口贴尘埃，或者有指望。 30 他当由人打他的腮颊，要满受凌辱。 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." 25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; 26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. 27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. 28 Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him. 29 Let him bury his face in the dust-- there may yet be hope. 30 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace. - Lamentations 3:24

If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41 If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. - Matthew 5:

15 还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈，宽容，忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是领你悔改呢？
Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? - Romans 2:4
