3 Deuteronomy 申命记 7:6 For you are a people holy to Yahweh your God; Yahweh your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on earth to be his people, his treasured possession. 因为你是归雅伟你的神作圣洁的子民的；雅伟你的神从地上的万族中，拣选了你作他的产业，自己的子民。

4 Deuteronomy 申命记 7:7 It was not because you were more numerous than any other people that Yahweh set his heart on you and chose you---for your were the fewest of all peoples. 雅伟喜爱你们，拣选你们，并不是因为你们的人数比别的民族多，其实你们的人数在万民中是最少的。

5 Deuteronomy 申命记 7:8 It was because Yahweh loved you and kep the oath that he swore to your ancestors, that Yahweh has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 而是因为雅伟对你们的爱，又因为他遵守他向你们的列祖所起的誓，他才用大能的手把你们领出来，把你们从为奴之家，从埃及王法老的手里救赎出来。

6 Deuteronomy 申命记 7:9 Know therefore that Yahweh your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyally with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations. 所以你要知道雅伟你的神，他是神，是信实可靠的神；他向爱他和守他诫命的人，守约并且施慈爱，直到千代。

9 Deuteronomy 申命记 7:22 Yahweh your God will clear away these nations before you little by little; you will not be able to make a quick end of them, otherwise the wild animals would become too numerous for you. 雅伟你的神必把这些国的民，从你面前渐渐赶出去；你不可以把他们迅速地灭尽，恐怕田间的野兽多起来害你。

12 Isaiah 以赛亚书 42:6 I am Yahweh, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations. 我雅伟凭着公义呼召了你；我必紧拉着你的手，我必保护你，立你作人民的约，作列国的光。
