Creating business diagrams once required paper, pencils, rulers and stencils—then came Visio. Unlike diagrams made with pen and paper, which are hard to edit, store and share, Visio 2000 provides the most versatile, easy-to-use tool for all business diagr??? Visio has 4 editions based on the same engine technology, the difference is in the “content” that is delivered with each Edition. For instance, only the Technical Edition contains the pre-drawn “shapes” engineers need to draw electrical or mechanical engin???Standard Edition, $199: designed for business professionals to create flowcharts, organization charts, timelines, sales and marketing visuals and more. Professional Edition, $399 (includes Standard Edition): designed for IT professionals to create network diagrams and design, directory services diagrams, database reverse engineering, web site mapping and more. Enterprise Edition, $995 (includes Standard & Professional Edition): designed for IT specialists and developers to create AutoDiscovery's of their network, network design and documentation, directory services import and diagramming, database design and mor???Technical Edition, $399 (includes Standard Edition): designed for engineers to create piping and instrumentation diagrams, electronic and electrical schematics, facilities management plans, and more.
