2 What is cardinal numbers?
是表示目的的词,简单来说我们用基数词来数数,表示单位个数,数目;基数词有1,2,3,4… one two three four…

3 在基数词中,表示几百,几千等时,英文中的“百,千,百万”等后不加s。如:300写成 “three hundred”

7 数字读法: 英语数字中读法是三位一分,只有百,千,百万,十亿,万亿,而且在写较大的数字时,一般在百位和十位中间加“and”.
如34,567读成 “thirty-four thousand, five hundred and sixty-seven”

8 What is ordinal numbers?
简单来说是用来表示顺序,有“第几”之意,如: 第一; 第二;第三… the first; the second; the third… 序数词的构成一般是在基数词的后面加上“th”,但也有例外的,如first, second and third.

16 Language points 1. Multiply 7 by 8 “7乘以8”, 其中multiply是及物动词
2. “7 multiplied by 8 is 56”中,is是谓语动词;multiplied在这里是过去分词表被动

17 Tips 1.我们把数看成一个整体,所以在进行数字运算得出结果时,谓语动词用单数is/equals(等于)
2. 下列选项能正确表达“11+1=12 ” A: “11 add 1 is 12.” B:“11 plus 1 equals 12.” 因为add 和is 都是动词;plus是介词
