理事會成員扮演一位‘溝通者’: 在國際階層與分會、區、複合區階層之間，促進重要訊息、政策、需求、挑戰及機會的溝通 What do we mean when we refer to the role of an international board member as a liaison? “Facilitates communication regarding key messages, policies, needs, challenges, and opportunities between the international level and club, district, multiple district levels.”

There are many things you’ll need to be an effective liaison during your term, and while I could stand up here and lecture you about each one, we’re going to give you the opportunity to draw on the collective experience and knowledge in this room to come up with the answers. Activity (20:00) Distribute materials. Directions: Each group will receive a piece of flipchart paper and some markers to brainstorm some answers to the following questions: CLICK – What characteristics and skills will you need to be an effective liaison? CLICK – What tools will you need to be effective? CLICK – With whom (the individuals and groups) will you need to communicate? You will have 8 minutes to brainstorm your responses with your small groups; be prepared to share your answers with the rest of the group. Call time after 8 minutes Go to each table and ask them to share 1 response to the first question (characteristics/skills). Repeat for the other two questions. Debrief – Much of what they need to be effective liaisons will be covered during this orientation, starting with some of the “tools” they’ll need in our presentations later this morning and this afternoon. 資源及工具 溝通重點 技巧和品質

Brainstorm in table groups and list qualities and characteristics of effective ambassadors/spokespersons. After 5 minutes, ask each table to share two items on their list.
