2. Use of 时候 shí hìu a. 时候 time 这时候：at this time 那时候：at that time
b. 有时候 sometimes 天有时候晴，有时候雨。Sometimes it’s sunny, and sometimes it’s rainy. c. 。。。的时候 when (in sentence) 上汉语课(kè:lesson)的时候我喜欢画画。 I like drawing when having Mandarin classes. d. 什么时候 when (question word) 车什么时候来？! When is the bus coming?!

Note：什么时候 is in the middle!
车什么时候来？ 你什么时候去中国？ 我一月去中国。

“…的时候”is a Time Word 我今天很高兴。 gāo xìng (happy) 我看电影的时候很高兴。
