日己西沉, 求主與我同住; 1. Abide with me-fast falls the even tide; 黃昏將近, 求主勿往他處; The darkness deepens-Lord, with me abide; 我甚困苦, 並無一友相助; When other helpers fail and comforts flee, 無能無友, 求主與我同住. Help of the helpless, O abide with me.

浮生若夢, 在世光陰似箭; 2. Swift to its close ebbs out life’s little day; 福祿榮華, 皆易隨時變遷; Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away; 眼前一切, 正如花間曉露; Change and decay in all around I see; 惟主不變, 求主與我同住. O Thou who changest not, abide with me.

無論何時, 我願與主同住; 3. I need Thy presence every passing hour; 若無主佑, 惡魔無法驅除; What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s power? 誰能如主, 領我行走天路? Who like Thyself my guide and stay can be? 不論陰晴, 求主與我同住. Through cloud and sunshine, O abide with me.

我臨終日, 求主寶架引路; 4. Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes; 光照幽暗, 指明天家之途; Shine thru the gloom and point me to the skies; 晨光一現, 世上幻景全無; Heaven’s morning breaks and earth’s vain shadows flee; 或生或死, 求主與我同住. In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.
