1 When using opening and closing presentation slides, use the masterbrand logo at the correct size and in the right position. This slide meets both needs. Given that all presentations have title slides (see examples following), opening slides are best used for projection while the audience arrives. Closing slides always should be used. An Andersen Legal version of this slide is available at the end of this portfolio.

The menu bar on this example slide shows a market offering flag with a relevant service line name. Image option On title slides with a menu bar, there is an option to include an image below the menu bar. The image should conform to the defined photography or illustration styles outlined at Colors used in illustrations must be drawn from the secondary color palette, which also can be found there. The image always must extend to the depth shown in the example slide, i.e. the full depth of the grid. The width of the image always must correspond to one column plus one gutter width. This correlates to the width of the market offering flags used within PowerPoint. Client logo If a client logo is required, the presentation wizard will prompt you to browse for the logo you need (new client logos can be added to the “client logo library,” as required). Client logos are positioned between the title slide heading and title slide sub-head/date. By using the presentation wizard, your template will be set up with the correct type specifications for your chosen slide layout. When you wish to add a new slide, select “New slide” from the “Insert” menu (or press “Ctrl M”). You will be offered a choice of layouts for your text options. The template will do the rest for you – just start entering your text for the bullet items required. Should you wish to change from bullet item style to the sub-head type specification (in order to style a sub-head), click on the toolbar “Sub-head” button. This button acts as a toggle feature to take you back to bullet item style if you change your mind. The introduction of the two-dimensional sphere in the bottom-right corner of presentation slides (not title slides), is unique to PowerPoint presentations.
