現在簡單式和 現在進行式的比較 直述句： (a) I sit in class every day. (b) I am sitting in class right now. (c) The teacher writes on the board every day. (d) The teacher is writing on the board right now.

現在簡單式和 現在進行式的比較 (a) Do you sit in class every day? 疑問句： (a) Do you sit in class every day? (b) Are you sitting in class right now? (c) Does the teacher write on the board every day? (d) Is the teacher writing on the board right now?

現在簡單式和 現在進行式的比較 否定句： (a) I don’t sit in class every day. (b)  I’m not sitting in class right now. (c)  The teacher doesn't write on the board every day. (d) The teacher isn’t writing on the board right now.

動詞字尾加 －ing 的拼法 規則 1 一個子音字母 ＋ -e －> 去 –e 加 –ing write －> writing smile －> smiling write －> writing make －> making take －> taking

動詞字尾加 －ing 的拼法 規則2 一個短母音字母 ＋ 一個子音字母 －> 重複子音字母，加 –ing sit －> sitting run －> running swim －> swimming

動詞字尾加 －ing 的拼法 規則3 兩個母音字母 ＋ 一個子音字母 －> 加 –ing；不要重複子音字母 read －> reading rain －> raining clean －> cleaning

動詞字尾加 －ing 的拼法 規則4 兩個子音字母 －> 加 –ing；不要重複子音字母 stand －> standing push －> pushing wash －> washing

非動作動詞不用於 現在進行式 (a) I’m hungry right now. I want an apple. （誤：I am wanting an apple.） (b)   I hear some noise. Do you hear it too? （誤：I’m hearing some noise. Are you hear it too?）

非動作動詞不用於 現在進行式 有些動詞不可使用於現在進行式。它們稱為非動作動詞(nonaction verbs)。 (a) 句中：want 是一個非動作動詞。 (b) 句中：hear也是一個非動作動詞。 hear表示一種感官經驗，而不是一個動作。

非動作動詞不用於 現在進行式 以下動詞無V-ing 的用法： want hear understand need see know like smell believe love taste hate
