申命记 Deuteronomy 5:24 and you said, `Behold, Yahweh our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire; we have this day seen God speak with man and man still live. 说：'看哪，雅伟我们的神把他的荣耀和伟大显给我们看，我们又听见他从火中发出来的声音；今日我们看见了神与人说话，而人还能活着。

申命记 Deuteronomy 5:25 Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of Yahweh our God any more, we shall die. 现在这大火快要吞灭我们了，我们为什么要冒死呢？如果我们再听见雅伟我们神的声音，我们就必死亡。

申命记 Deuteronomy 5:26 For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of fire, as we have, and has still lived? 因为有血肉生命的人，有谁像我们一样，听见永活的神从火中说话的声音，还能活着呢？

申命记 Deuteronomy 5:27 Go near, and hear all that Yahweh our God will say; and speak to us all that Yahweh our God will speak to you; and we will hear and do it.' 现在求你走前去，听听雅伟我们的神要说的一切话；然后你要把雅伟我们的神对你所说的一切话，都告诉我们；我们就必听从，也必遵行。'

申命记 Deuteronomy 5:29 Oh that they had such a mind as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their children for ever! 但愿他们常常存着这样的心，敬畏我，遵守我的一切诫命，使他们和他们的子孙永享福乐。

出埃及记 Exodus 20:20 And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to prove you, and that the fear of him may be before your eyes, that you may not sin." 摩西回答人民："不要惧怕，因为 神降临是要试验你们，叫你们常常敬畏他，不至犯罪。"
