Matthew 太 5:20, NIV For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 我告訴你們， 你們的義若不勝於文士和法利賽人的義， 斷不能進天國。

不可將善事行在人的面前，故意叫他們看見， Matthew 太 6:1, NIV “Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” 你們要小心， 不可將善事行在人的面前，故意叫他們看見， 若是這樣，就不能得你們天父的賞賜了。

Matthew 6:2-4, NIV “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done is secret, will reward you.”
