我們吃鹽，甜食與油膩食物 加上糖果，麵包與牛油 喝非常甜的飲料與加糖咖啡與茶 但是就不會胖，因為… We ate salty, very sweet & oily food, candies,bread and real butter and drank very sweet soft drinks, sweet coffee/ tea, ice kachang, but we weren't overweight because......

一直到路燈點亮才想到回家 沒人知道我們躲在哪玩 WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!! 我們長期在室外玩耍 一早就跑出去，玩一整天 一直到路燈點亮才想到回家 沒人知道我們躲在哪玩 但是我們都能平安回家 WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!! We would leave home in the morning and play all day, till streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.

我們會花幾個小時修理那些老爺腳踏車與木製滑板車 還不懂用煞車，就用他們從山坡上往下衝 經過幾次失事衝進樹叢裡 才學會一些教訓 We would spend hours repairing our old bicycles and wooden scooters out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

那時，我們沒有那些像任天堂之類的電動遊戲 也沒有閉路電視、DVD影片、環場音響、電話 更沒電腦、網際網路 我們只有朋友 只要走出家們 就能找到他們 We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, multiple channels on cable TV, DVD movies, no surround sound, no phones, no personal computers, no Internet. WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

我們從樹上掉下來受了傷 甚至摔斷牙齒或骨頭 但是們依然樂此不疲 We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and we still continued the stunts.

我們這一代卻產生了一些最好的風險接受人 與解決問題的高手和發明家！ Yet this generation has produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

過去40年是一個 創新、新思蓬勃的時代。 The past 40 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

我們有自由、失敗 成功、與責任 還有我們的所學 We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned
