Power of Compassion 馬太福音 Matthew 14:13-23

Matthew 馬太14 13 耶穌聽見了，就上船從那裡獨自退到野地裡去。眾人聽見，就從各城裡步行跟隨他。 14 耶穌出來，見有許多的人，就憐憫他們，治好了他們的病人。(和合本) 13 Now when Jesus heard about John, He withdrew from there in a boat to a secluded place by Himself; and when the people heard of this, they followed Him on foot from the cities. 14 When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick. (NASB)

Matthew 馬太14 15 天將晚的時候，門徒進前來，說：「這是野地，時候已經過了，請叫眾人散開，他們好往村子裡去，自己買吃的。」 16 耶穌說：「不用他們去，你們給他們吃吧！」 17 門徒說：「我們這裡只有五個餅，兩條魚。」 15 When it was evening, the disciples came to Him and said, “This place is desolate and the hour is already late; so send the crowds away, that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” 16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat!” 17 They said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

Matthew 馬太14 18 耶穌說：「拿過來給我。」 19 於是吩咐眾人坐在草地上，就拿著這五個餅，兩條魚，望著天祝福，擘開餅，遞給門徒，門徒又遞給眾人。 20 他們都吃，並且吃飽了；把剩下的零碎收拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。 21 吃的人，除了婦女孩子，約有五千。 18 And He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Ordering the people to sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food, and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds, 20 and they all ate and were satisfied. They picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve full baskets. 21 There were about five thousand men who ate, besides women and children.

Matthew 馬太14 22 耶穌隨即催門徒上船，先渡到那邊去，等他叫眾人散開。 23 散了眾人以後，他就獨自上山去禱告。到了晚上，只有他一人在那裡。 22 Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away. 23 After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.

Matthew 馬太14 10 He (King Herod) sent and had John beheaded in the prison. 11 And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother. 12 His disciples came and took away the body and buried it; and they went and reported to Jesus. 10 (希律王)於是打發人去，在監裡斬了約翰， 11 把頭放在盤子裡，拿來給了女子；女子拿去給她母親。 12 約翰的門徒來，把屍首領去埋葬了，就去告訴耶穌。

詩篇Psalm 37 7 你當默然倚靠耶和華，耐性等候他； 不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。 8 當止住怒氣，離棄忿怒； 不要心懷不平，以致作惡。 7 Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. 8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.

Mark 1:34-38 34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼… 35 次日早晨，天未亮的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裡禱告。 36 西門和同伴追了他去， 37 遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」 38 耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裡傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」 34 And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons… 35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. 36 Simon and his companions searched for Him; 37 they found Him, and said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.” 38 He said to them, “Let us go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may preach there also; for that is what I came for.”

John 約翰福音 6:7-9 7 腓力回答說：「就是二十兩銀子的餅，叫他們各人吃一點也是不夠的。」 8 有一個門徒，就是西門•彼得的兄弟安得烈，對耶穌說： 9 「在這裡有一個孩童(或年輕人)，帶著五個大麥餅、兩條魚，只是分給這許多人還算甚麼呢？」 7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, for everyone to receive a little.” 8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad (a boy or a young man) here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people?”
