「弟兄们，应当更加殷勤，使你们所蒙的恩召和拣选坚定不移。你们若行这几样，就永不失脚。这样，必叫你们丰丰富富地，得以进入我们主救主耶稣基督永远的国。」 彼后1:10-11 “Therefore, brothers, be zealous even more to make your calling and election secure, because if you do these things, you will never ever stumble.  For in this way entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly supplied for you. ” 2 Pet 1:10-11

二、更新的途径－住在主里 Means of renewal - Remain in the Lord 「你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干，人拾起来扔在火里烧了。你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面；」vv4,5b-7a “Remain in me, and I in you. Just as the branch is not able to bear fruit from itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me…The one who remains in me and I in him—this one bears much fruit, for apart from me you are not able to do anything. If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and dries up, and they gather them and throw them* into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you,” vv4, 5b-7a
