3 願 頌 讚 歸 與 我 們 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 父 神 ！ 他 曾 照 自 己 的 大 憐 憫 ， 藉 耶 穌 基 督 從 死 裡 復 活 ， 重 生 了 我 們 ， 叫 我 們 有 活 潑 的 盼 望 ， 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 可 以 得 著 不 能 朽 壞 、 不 能 玷 污 、 不 能 衰 殘 、 為 你 們 存 留 在 天 上 的 基 業 。5 你 們 這 因 信 蒙 神 能 力 保 守 的 人 ， 必 能 得 著 所 預 備 、 到 末 世 要 顯 現 的 救 恩 。 6 因此，你們是大有喜樂；但如今, 在百般的試煉 中暫時憂愁， 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

7叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被 火試驗仍然能壞的金子更顯寶貴, 可以在耶穌基督 顯現的時候得著稱讚、榮耀、尊貴。8你們雖然沒 有見過他，卻是愛他；如今雖不得看見，卻因信 他就有說不出來、滿有榮光的大喜樂 ； 7 These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

9 並 且 得 著 你 們 信 心 的 果 效 ， 就 是 靈 魂 的 救 恩 。10 論 到 這 救 恩 ， 那 預 先 說 你 們 要 得 恩 典 的 眾 先 知 早 已 詳 細 的 尋 求 考 察 11就是考察在他們心裡基督的靈，預先證明基督 受苦難，後來得榮耀, 是指著甚麼時候並怎樣的 時候。 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care 11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.

12他們得了啟示，知道他們所傳講的一切 事，不是為自己 ，乃是為你們。那靠著從天上差 來的聖靈傳福音給你們的人，現在將這些事報給 你們；天使也願意詳細察看這些事。 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. 以弗所書 1:3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶 穌基督的父神！他在基督裡曾賜給 我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣 Ephesians. 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 以弗所書 1:3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶 穌基督的父神！他在基督裡曾賜給 我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣

Hebrews 3:7-13 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, 9  where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works 10 for forty years. Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart; they have not known my ways.‘ 希伯來書 3:7-13 聖靈有話說：你們今日若聽他 的話，8 就不可硬著心，像在曠野惹他發怒、試 探他的時候一樣。9 在那裡，你們的祖宗試我探 我，並且觀看我的作為有四十年之久。10 所以， 我厭煩那世代的人，說：他們心裡常常迷糊，竟 不曉得我的作為！

1 John 5:10-11 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in Himself. Whoever does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. 11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 約翰一書 5:10-11 10 信神兒子的，就有這見證 在他心裡；不信神的，就是將神當作說謊的，因不 信神為他兒子作的見證。11 這見證就是神賜給我們 永生；這永生也是在他兒子裡面。

John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God 約 翰 福 音 1:12 凡 接 待 他 的 ，就 是 信 他 名 的 人 ， 他 就 賜 他 們 權 柄 ，作 神 的 兒 女 。

2.父神對你的願望：得著不能朽壞的 基業（vs. 4） Father’s Wish for You to Have an imperishable Inheritance (vs. 4)

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 以賽亞書 9:6 因有一嬰孩為我們而生；有一子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他名稱為奇妙策士、全能的神、永在的父、和平的君。
