Disciples Are God’s Chosen People 門徒是神特别揀選的人 彼前 1 Peter 2:9-10

彼前 1 Peter 2:9–10 (NASB) 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 9惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德‧10你們從前算不得子民，現在卻作了神的子民‧從前未曾蒙憐恤，現在卻蒙了憐恤‧

1. A chosen race 被揀選的族類 (2:9a)

弗 Eph 1:4 Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. 就如神從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵‧

2. A royal priesthood 有君尊的祭司 (2:9b)

啓 Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. 在頭一次復活有分的，有福了，聖潔了‧第二次的死在他們身上沒有權柄‧他們必作 神和基督的祭司，並要與基督一同作王一千年‧

3. A holy nation 聖潔的國度 (2:9c)

4. A people for God’s own possession 屬神的子民 (2:9d)

徒 Acts 20:28 “Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.” (NASB) 聖靈立你們作全群的監督，你們就當為自己謹慎，也為全群謹慎，牧養神的教會，就是他用自己血所買來的‧

申命記 Deut 7:6 因為你歸耶和華你 神為聖潔的民‧耶和華你 神從地上的萬民中揀選你，特作自己的子民‧ For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. 因為你歸耶和華你 神為聖潔的民‧耶和華你 神從地上的萬民中揀選你，特作自己的子民‧

啓示錄 Rev 5:9-10 9And they sang a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” (NIV) 9他們唱新歌，說，你配拿書卷，配揭開七印‧因為你曾被殺，用自己的血從各族各方，各民各國中買了人來，叫他們歸於 神，10又叫他們成為國民，作祭司，歸於 神‧在地上執掌王權‧

林前 1 Cor 6:20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (NLT) 因為你們是重價買來的‧所以要在你們的身子上榮耀神‧

弗 Eph 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. 我們原是他的工(傑)作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預備叫我們行的‧

賽 Isaiah 43:1-3 (NASB) 1 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! 2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. B. God’s Compassion 神的憐恤 彼前 1 Peter 2:10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (NIV) 你們從前算不得子民，現在卻作了神的子 民‧從前未曾蒙憐恤，現在卻蒙了憐恤‧

III. Disciples’ Special Purpose in Christ 門徒在基督裡的特別目的 彼前 1 Peter 2:9e So that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him. 要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德‧

以賽亞 Isa 43:21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise. 這百姓是我為自己所造的，好述說我的美德‧

以弗所 Eph 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 所以你們該效法神，好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣‧

约壹 1 John 3:2-3 2Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 3And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
