若有人犯罪，在父那裡我們有一位中保，就是那義者耶穌基督‧ (B-2) If any one sins…Jesus Christ will act as our divine defense attorney (advocate). 若犯了罪…耶穌基督是我们在父前的中保. 來 Hebrews 4:15-16 (NASB) 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. 15 因我們的大祭司，並非不能體恤我們的軟弱‧他也曾凡事受過試探，與我們一樣‧只是他沒有犯罪‧16 所以我們只管坦然無懼的，來到施恩的寶座前，為要得憐恤，蒙恩惠作隨時的幫助‧

Propitiation 挽回祭 (hilasmos, Gk) Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross satisfies the demands of God’s justice, thus appeasing His holy wrath against believers’ sins. (God’s justice and love) 基督在十字架上的代死滿足了神公義的要求, 因而平息了神為了信徒的罪所發的義(聖)怒.(神的公義与慈愛)
