Whether you want to believe it or not Jesus’ Resurrection is irrefutable history (Acts 1:1-3). 無論你願相信與否, 耶穌的復活是確鑿的歷史 (徒1:1-3) There were over 500 eye witnesses (I Corinthians 15:3-6). 有500位目擊見證人(林前15:3-6), 10’s of thousands witness His crucifixion (at Passover) 成千上萬的人親眼看見祂被釘十架 (在逾越節), 100’s of thousands witness His miracles & Sermons 上萬的人親眼看見祂行的神蹟和講道.

5 examples of Jesus’ words & works that Reveal He is truly God come to Earth in Human flesh (John 1:1-14) 耶穌的言語和作為的五個例子,顯示祂真是上帝道成肉身來到世上 In John chapter 2 we see Jesus perform a great miracle at a wedding feast 約翰福音2章,我們看見耶穌在一婚宴行大神蹟. He created everything (John 1:3) and reveals He has control over His creation 祂創造萬物(約1:3), 並顯明祂掌控祂所造的萬物.

In John Chapter 4 Jesus meets a Samaritan woman 約翰福音4章耶穌遇見一撒瑪利亞婦人 Jesus tells her everything she’s ever done, even her sins (4:29). Reveals He is omniscient. 耶穌告訴她她曾做的一切事, 甚至她的罪行(4:29),顯明祂的 無所不知.

In John Chapter 6 Jesus says: “I am the bread of life” (6:35) “I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever” (6:51). 「我是從天上降下來生命的糧；人若吃這糧，就必永遠活著。」 (約6:51) Now if you or I were to say such a thing people would laugh at us. But when Jesus said it nobody laughed. Why? 耶穌說這話時無人取笑祂, 為何? Jesus miraculously fed 5000 men (John 6:10-14) 因耶穌奇蹟式地餵飽了5000人(約6:10-14).

倘若你我說此類的話,人們不會理會我們, 且視我們為瘋子. John Chapter 8 Jesus says: “I am the light of the world” 約翰福音8章, 耶穌說:「我是世界的光。」 (8:12) If you or I say something like that people would ignore us as being crazy. 倘若你我說此類的話,人們不會理會我們, 且視我們為瘋子. But when Jesus said it everyone took Him seriously. Why? 但當耶穌如此說時, 每人都認真對待, 為何?

Because Jesus was healing countless blind people. 因為耶穌醫治了數不清的瞎子 In John chapter 9 He heals a man born blind. 約翰福音9章,祂醫治了一個生來瞎眼的人.

John chapter 11: Some of Jesus’ Greatest Words 約翰福音11章: 耶穌最偉大的一些言論 "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall helive: 「復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人雖然死了 ，也必復活， and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. 凡活著信我的人必永遠不死。 Believest thou this?" (11:25-26) 你信這話嗎？」

I. ). BE PATIENT IN SUFFERING I.) BE PATIENT IN SUFFERING. We live in a sinful fallen world (John 11:1-21) 在受苦中要忍耐 我們生活在一個罪惡,墮落的世界 (約11:1-21) Sometimes our sickness as well as our health can be for the Glory of God. (John 9:3; Phil. 1:20) 有時我們的疾病和健康, 都可能是為了上帝的榮耀(約9:3; 腓1:20). Ask yourself: “How can I bring glory to God in this situation?” 問自己:「我如何能在這樣的情況中榮耀上帝?」

Like Mary invite Jesus into your suffering (John 11:3) 要像馬利亞, 邀請耶穌進入你的受苦 (約11:3) Illustration: Trials purify us like silver (Ps. 66:10; Prov. 17:3); 舉例 : 試煉潔淨我們好像銀子被熬煉 (詩66:10; 箴17:3). “For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.” (Ps. 66:10; I Pet. 1:7) 7 Times (Ps. 12:6) 「神啊，你曾試驗我們，熬煉我們，如熬煉銀子一樣。」 (詩66:10), 七次(詩12:6).

Never Doubt God’s love when you are suffering 當你受苦時,決不要懷疑上帝的愛 “Now Jesus loved Martha, & her sister, & Lazarus” (John 11:5) 「耶穌素來愛馬大和他妹子並拉撒路。」(約11:5) Be Patient: God’s perfect timing is unpredictable: 要忍耐:上帝完美的計時是無法預測的. “When Jesus heard Lazarus was sick, he waits 2 days before going (John 11:6) 「耶穌聽見拉撒路病了,就在所居之地仍住了兩天。」(約11:6)

God’s timing can seem unloving but it’s not {God is Love} 上帝的時間看來好似沒有愛心, 但並非如此 {上帝是愛} God’s timing can seem too late but it’s not (John 11:14) {God is Eternal} 上帝的時間看來好似太晚,但並非如此 {上帝是永恆的} God’s timing often seems dangerous {God is Sovereign} 上帝的時間經常好似危險,但並非如此 {上帝是掌管一切的} Jesus is willing to risk his life to help Lazarus (John 11:8, 16) 耶穌願意冒自己生命危險去幫助拉撒路(約11:8,16).

God’s timing is often frustrating to us 上帝的時間經常讓我們洩氣 Both Martha & Mary say: “Lord if only you had been here, Lazarus would not have died” (John 11:21, 32). 馬大,馬利亞都說: 「主啊，你若早在這裡，我兄弟必不死。」 (約11:21,32) {God is omniscient} His ways are perfect (Deut. 32:4) {上帝是無所不知的} 祂的作為永遠完全 (申32:4).

II.) HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S WORD & GOD’S POWER (John 11:23-26, 44) 要對上帝的話語和能力有信心 (約11:23-26, 44) Jesus has redefined death for the believer as sleep (11:11-14) 耶穌重新定義信徒的死亡為睡眠 (11:11-14). Sleep is perfectly harmless. There is nothing to fear. Sleep comes as a welcome rest after the trials and struggles of the day. In sleep we lie down to rise again. 睡眠完全無害, 無所畏懼. 睡眠是一天忙碌掙扎後的適當休息. 我們趟下睡眠後會再起來.

Without Christ the sleep of death becomes a nightmare. 若無基督,死亡的睡眠將成為惡夢 Trust Jesus! Jesus “is the resurrection & the life.” 信靠耶穌吧!耶穌是「復活與生命」. He already proved it by raising many people from the dead (Matt. 9:25; 11: 4-5; Luke 7:15) 祂藉著使許多人從死裡復活, 已經證明這句話 (太9:25; 11:4-5; 路7:15)

III. ). EXPERIENCE A SUPERNATURAL COMFORT. IN ALL YOUR TRIALS Jesus has experienced & understands all our trials & tribulations (Heb. 4:15; 5:7-9) 耶穌已經經歷, 且明白你所有的試煉和災難(來4:15; 5:7-9). “Jesus wept.” (John 11:35). 「耶穌哭了」(約11:35). IV.) REJOICE IN THE ULTIMATE TRIUMPH OF JESUS CHRIST (John 11:37-44) 歡欣耶穌基督至終的勝利 (約11:37-44) Jesus brings "life and immortality to light" (2 Tim. 1:10). 耶穌「將不能壞的生命彰顯出來。 」(提後1:10) Jesus alone has conquered death (I Cor. 15:42-58) 唯有耶穌征服了死亡(林前15:42-58).

耶穌說：「我不是對你說過，你若信，就必看見神的榮耀嗎？」 (約11:40) Christ‘s words & works inspire Hope (11:23-24, 25-26) 基督的言語和作為激發盼望 (11:23-26) "said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?" (John 11:40) 耶穌說：「我不是對你說過，你若信，就必看見神的榮耀嗎？」 (約11:40)

Christ‘s words not only inspire, they empower obedience Jesus spoke only 2 words: “Lazarus Here!” 基督的言語不但激發盼望, 更給人力量順服 耶穌只說了兩個字: 「拉撒路, 這裡!」 Wherever Lazarus was he heard the voice of Jesus (John 10:16) 不論拉撒路在哪裡,他聽見耶穌的聲音 (約10:16). Wherever Lazarus was he knew the voice of Jesus (John 10:4) 不論拉撒路在哪裡,他認識耶穌的聲音(約10:4). Wherever Lazarus was he obeyed the voice of Jesus! Do You? (John 5:28-29) 不論拉撒路在哪裡,他聽從耶穌的聲音.你聽從嗎?(約5:28-29)

With every command of God comes the power to obey 上帝的每一吩咐都帶著順服的力量 Illustration: Something about Lazarus you might not have known "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe that the Father is in me, & I in him." (John 10:37-38) 約10:37 我若不行我父的事，你們就不必信我； 約10:38 我若行了，你們縱然不信我，也當信這些事，叫你們又知道又明白父在我裡面，我也在父裡面。」

V.) BE WARNED BY THE 3 REACTIONS TO CHRIST’S WORDS & WORKS 要警惕對基督的言語和作為的三種反應 1. Are you one of the "many who believe on Jesus" (John 11:45) 你是許多相信耶穌的人之一嗎? (約11:45) 2. Are you one who goes your way & just talks about Him (11:46) 你是走開, 只說說談談的人之一嗎? (11:46) 3. Are you one who wishes Jesus would just go away or even die! (John 11:48, 53). 你是希望耶穌消失甚或死去的人之一嗎? (約11:48,53)

The condition of our heart determines whether or not we will respond with faith to God’s Revelation 我們內心的狀況,決定我們是否以信心回應上帝的啟示 Perhaps you have serious concerns for your eternal welfare. 或許你嚴重關切自己永生的福祉, You wonder what will happen to you when you die 你好奇自己死後的結果為何.

You can know for sure, without a doubt, that when you die you will go to be with Jesus in Glory… 你可以毫無疑問地確知, 當你死後會與耶穌同在榮耀中… I would like to ask everyone to bow our heads and do some honest soul searching 請大家低頭, 誠實地尋索自己的內心
