Why is Sunday also called the Lord’s Day? 為什麼七日的第一日(禮拜天)又稱主日？ Why is Sunday also called the Lord’s Day? 主日不是舊約安息日, 而是安息日之後的那一日, 是七日的第一日。Sunday is not the Old Testament Sabbath 因為主耶穌在那天復活了! This is because the Lord Jesus was raised on the first day of the week!

主日是？What is Sunday？ 1.主所定的日子 This is the day the Lord has made 詩Psalm 118:22-24 匠人所棄的石頭已成了房角的頭 塊石頭。這是耶和華所做的,在我們眼中看為 希奇。這是耶和華所定的日子,我們在其中要 高興歡喜!The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

2.活過來的日子 The day of revival 可Mark 16:9 在七日的第一日清早, 耶穌復活了…。 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week… 耶穌復活,信祂的人也要復活 Jesus was alive and all who believes in Him shall alive too. 約John 11:25 耶穌對她說: 復活在我, 生命也在我。信我的人雖然死了, 也必復活。Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

3.與主相遇的日子 The Day Jesus comes to meet us 太 Matthew 28:8-9 婦女們就急忙離開墳墓, 又害怕又大大地歡喜, 跑去要報給他的門徒。忽然, 耶穌遇見她們, 說:「願你們平安!」So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. 約John 20:19 那日(就是七日的第一日)晚上, 門徒所在的地方, 因怕猶太人, 門都關了。耶穌來站在當中, 對他們說:「願你們平安!」On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

4.滿有平安喜樂的日子 The Day filled with peace and joy 路Luke 24:36 正說這話的時候, 耶穌親自站在他 們當中, 說: 願你們平安! While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 約John20:20 說了這話, 就把手和肋旁指給他們 看。門徒看見主, 就喜樂了。 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

5.靈裡恢復的日子 The Day of spiritual recovery 約John20:22 說了這話, 就向他們吹一口氣, 說： 你們受聖靈! And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

6.領受並明白主話語的日子 The Day to receive and understand His words 路Luke 24:27 於是從摩西和眾先知起,凡經上所 指著自己的話都給他們講解明白了。 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. 路Luke 24:45 於是耶穌開他們的心竅,使他們能 明白聖經。 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

約14:26 但保惠師, 就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈, 他要將一切的事指教你們, 並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 約16:13 只等真理的聖靈來了, 他要引導你們明白(原文作進入)一切的真理; 因為他不是憑自己說的, 乃是把他所聽見的都說出來, 並要把將來的事告訴你們。But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

7.擘餅記念主的日子 The day to break bread in remembrance of the Lord 路Luke 24:30-31 到了坐席的時候, 耶穌拿起餅 來, 祝謝了, 擘開, 遞給他們。他們的眼睛明亮 了, 這才認出他來…。When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 徒Act 20:7 七日的第一日, 我們聚會擘餅的時候, 保羅因為要次日起行, 就與他們講論, 直講到 半夜。 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.

(1)記念主 To remember the Lord 林前Icor 11:24-25 祝謝了,就擘開,說:「這是我的身 體,為你們捨的,你們應當如此行,為的是記念 我。」飯後,也照樣拿起杯來,說:「這杯是用我 的血所立的新約,你們每逢喝的時候,要如此行, 為的是記念我。」and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me. (2)見證我們的合一 To testify of our unity 林前Icor 10:17 我們雖多,仍是一個餅,一個身體。 Because there is on loaf, we, who are many, are on body, for we all partake of the one loaf.

8.傳好信息的日子 The Day to tell the Good News 太Matthew 28:8-10 婦女們就急忙離開墳墓, 又害怕, 又大大地歡喜, 跑去要報給他的門徒…。So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 約John 20:21 耶穌又對他們說: 願你們平安! 父怎樣差遣了我, 我也照樣差遣你們。 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

9.不要缺席的日子 The Day to be present 多馬的遺憾 Thomas’s Regret 約John 20:29 耶穌對他說:「你因看見了我才信;那沒有看見就信的有福了。」Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” 來Hebrew 10:25 你們不可停止聚會, 好像那些停止慣了的人, 倒要彼此勸勉, 既知道那日子臨近, 就更當如此。Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
