Deuteronomy 申命记 7:6 For you are a people holy to Yahweh your God; Yahweh your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on earth to be his people, his treasured possession. 因为你是归雅伟你的神作圣洁的子民的；雅伟你的神从地上的万族中，拣选了你作他的产业，自己的子民。

Deuteronomy 申命记 7:7 It was not because you were more numerous than any other people that Yahweh set his heart on you and chose you---for your were the fewest of all peoples. 雅伟喜爱你们，拣选你们，并不是因为你们的人数比别的民族多，其实你们的人数在万民中是最少的。
