獻上自己來榮耀神 Offering Ourselves To Glorify God 羅馬書Romans 6:4-14

6:4所以我們藉著洗禮歸入死，與他同葬，為的是要我們過新生命的生活，像基督藉著父的榮耀從死人中復活一樣。 6:5我們若在他死的樣式上與他聯合，也要在他復活的樣式上與他聯合。 6:6我們知道，我們的舊人已經與基督同釘十字架，使罪身喪失機能，使我們不再作罪的奴僕， 6:7因為死了的人已經脫離罪了。 中文新譯本

6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. 6:5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.  6:6 We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. 6:7 For one who has died has been set free from sin.   ESV Bible

因為耶穌，我們脫離罪的權勢! Because of Jesus, We are delivered from the power of sin

6:8我們既然與基督同死，就信也必與他同活。 6:9我們知道，基督既然從死人中復活，就不再死，死也不再轄制他了。 6:10他死，是向罪死了，只有這一次；他活，是向　神活著。 6:11你們也應當這樣，向罪算自己是死的，在基督耶穌裡，向　神卻是活的。 中文新譯本

6:8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 6:9 We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.  6:10 For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God.  6:11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

因為耶穌，我們得到新的生命! Because of Jesus, We have new life

The “Old Self” would rather keep us in our comfort zone 1.“老我”讓我們寧可停留在安全的區域 而畫地自限 The “Old Self” would rather keep us in our comfort zone 2.“老我” 讓我們憑著自己的喜好作決定 而對主的心意視而不見 The “Old Self” makes us follow our own voice rather than the voice of God 3.“老我”讓我們滿於現狀而不願突破自我 領受主更豐富的應許與祝福， The “Old Self” is content with the present and unwilling to breakthrough to receive the will and vision of God 4. “老我”讓我們遵循傳統與習慣而不願為著 未來的需要作出改變， The “Old Self” follows traditions and is unwilling to make changes for the good of the future

6:12所以，不要容罪在你們必死的肉身上掌權，使你們順從肉身的私慾， 6:13也不要把你們的肢體獻給罪，作不義的用具；倒要像出死得生的人，把自己獻給　神，並且把你們的肢體獻給　神作義的用具。 6:14罪必不能轄制你們，因為你們不是在律法之下，而是在恩典之下。

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions.  13 Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.  14 For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

因為耶穌，我們捨己為主而活! Because of Jesus, We have new life 加拉太書 5:16 我說，你們當順著聖靈而行，就不放縱肉體的情慾了。5:17 因為情慾和聖靈相爭，聖靈和情慾相爭，這兩個是彼此相敵，使你們不能做所願意做的。 Galatians 5:16But I say,  walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 5:17For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other,  to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

因為耶穌，我們得到新的生命! Because of Jesus, 獻上自己來榮耀神 Offering Ourselves To Glorify God 因為耶穌，我們脫離罪的權勢! Because of Jesus, We are delivered from the power of sin 因為耶穌，我們得到新的生命! Because of Jesus, We have new life 因為耶穌，我們捨己為主而活! Because of Jesus, We have new life
