IV. What are the characteristics of disciples of Christ? 基督的門徒有什么特質?

1. They are special people called by God. 他们是神所呼召的特別人. 雅 James 1:18 彼前 1 Pet 1:22-23 彼前 1 Pet 2:9 弗 Eph 1:14 瑪拉基 Mal 3:17 賽 Isa 43:2

彼前 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, A royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (NASB) 惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德‧

2. They have abiding (intimate) relationships with Christ 約 John 15:1-8; 6:56; 14:20; 17:20-26 加 Gal 2:20

3. They are God’s masterpieces. 他们是神的傑作. (弗 Eph 2:8-10) God’s work for us. (v.8-9) 神為我们所做的工作. God’s work in us. (v.10a) 神在我们裡面所做的工作. God’s work through us. (v.10b) 神藉着我们所做的工作.

弗 Eph 2:8-10 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. 5. They keep (hold to) God’s word. 他们遵守神的道. 8. They apprentice at the feet of Christ (the Master) to learn the skills of living. 他們在基督腳前学習生活的技能. See, I have gained five more.’ 21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 20那領五千銀子的，又帶著那另外的五千來，說，主阿，你交給我五千銀子，請看，我又賺了五千‧21主人說，好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人‧你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理‧可以進來享受你主人的快樂‧
