September 12 Dear Susan, It’s been a long time since you left Taiwan. How’ve you been? We all miss you. Summer vacation has just come to an end, and I’m now in my sophomore year. Like most of my classmates, I’ve become busier because there are more and more assignments. But don’t worry about me. So far I’ve worked hard and done well.

6 2.經驗：表達目前為止有過或未曾有過 經驗。 常與以下時間副詞連用：ever（曾經）、never（從未）、once（一次）、twice（兩次）、three times（三次）。 Ex：Have you ever been to Hong Kong ? No, I have never been there. （你曾去過香港嗎？不，我從未去過那兒。）

7 3.持續：表達一動作從過一直持續到現在為止。
常與 以下三種情況合用： 1. for ＋一段時間 2. since＋過去時間 3. How long Ex 1：I have studied English for two years. （我已經讀英文兩年了）

8 Ex 2：It has been hot since yesterday.
（從昨天起天氣一直炎熱。） Ex 3：How long have they written to each other？（他們已經彼此通信多久了？） They have written to each other for three years. ＝They have written to each other since three years ago. （他們已經通信三年了。）
