6 As is shown in the first picture, a man is attempting to fix a banner on the trees, which says “HAPPY EARTH DAY”. However, what he can find are some stumps and a single tree. As a contrast, in the second picture, a man and a woman have just planted a tree and how happy they are. As far as I’m concerned, what the two pictures convey to us is such a phenomenon that some people prefer to speak for protecting the earth while some would rather take actions. 7 In my opinion, only by taking actions can we protect the environment effectively. For example, we ought to plant more trees and value the paper which is made from wood.
