8 CalWORKs Program California Work Opportunity & Responsibility to kids
申請條件 (以2011年7月政府頒布為準） 低收入（參考標準：MBSAC-Minimum Basic Standard Of Adequate Care） 家庭銀行的存款不能超過$2000；或$3000若家庭成員裡有超過65歲的長者。 自用的汽車價值不能超過 $4600美金。 可以擁有自己居住的房子。

9 CalWORKs Program California Work Opportunity & Responsibility to kids
申請條件 (以2011年7月政府頒布為準） 家庭中有18歲以下的小孩需要照顧 雙親中有一人已經死亡、離家、失業、或心理有殘障 例：3口之家的月收入在 $1000左右；滿足上述條件，每個月可以從政府那裡申請到 $600生活補助金；還可以享受政府提供的糧食券(food Stamp)；及醫療保險。

10 CalFresh Program prevent hunger & improve nutrition & health
申請條件（以2011年7月政府頒布為準） 低收入的成人（18歲以上） 單身月收入在 $1180；3口之家在 $2008 家庭的銀行存款不能超過 $2000；或 $3250若家庭成員裡有超過65歲的長者 例證： 單身若符合上述條件，每個月可申領到 $200的糧食券。 3口之家若符合上述條件，每個月可申領到 $526的糧食券。

11 Medical 申請條件： 1. 年齡： 21以下 或 65歲以上； 21～65歲之間需要有未成年孩子（18歲以下） 孕婦；身體有殘障者
2. 收入： 個人月收入 $ 1161；夫婦月收入 $1571 滿足以上條件者，可獲得Full Medical（HMO)；若沒有滿足以上條件，也可以申請但 需要與政府分攤醫療費用（share cost）

12 CAPI Cash Assistance Program for immigrants
Basic Eligibility Rules for CAPI Meet all other SSI/SSP eligibility criteria except for immigration status Be aged (65歲以上), blind, or disabled, Be a resident of California, Have resources below the allowable limits of $2,000 for an individual or $3,000 for a couple, and Have income less than the CAPI standards

13 CAPI Cash Assistance Program for immigrants
Basic Eligibility Rules for CAPI Be a non-citizen and meet the immigration status criteria in effect for SSI/SSP as of 8/21/96. Be ineligible for SSI/SSP solely due to immigration status. This means a CAPI applicant must apply for SSI/SSP, or submit other proof of ineligibility from the Social Security Administration.

Multi-disciplinary team serving Cal Works families Assists clients in setting realistic goals and monitors progress in achieving those goals As I went through this orientation, I became informed about the FRC and was connected to one of its programs, the Family Service Team. The Family Service team informed me about the many services and programs that the FRC had to offer and guided me in my process to become self-sufficient

34 Tri-City One-Stop Career Center/EDD
When I graduated from Mission Valley Regional Occupational Program, I was connected to the FRC’s Tri-City One Stop Career Center/EDD office to assist in my job search efforts. Through this agency, I received services to enhance my job interviewing skills and improve my resume. In 3 months, I secured full time employment in Fremont. 35 Money $mart Financial Literacy Course
As my income became more stable, I expressed interest to the FST in wanting to rid myself of living check by check. The FST informed me about the FRC’s Money Smart program. Through completing this program, I received a wealth of financial information. Now, I know how to plan ahead for my family’s financial future.

36 Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Volunteer Income Tax Assistance 針對低收入戶的免費服務
I was also told about the FRC’s VITA program, where volunteers are trained to prepare taxes for people like me for free! I was so surprised to learn that I got a refund of over $1,000! From something called the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). That money came in really handy to pay off some bills that had piled up after my husband left. I was even able to save a little of it.
