主耶穌，當我們想到 祢的一切恩愛， Lord Jesus! when we think of Thee, Of all Thy love and grace, 我們的靈盼望最好 當面見祢豐采。 Our spirits long and fain would see Thy beauty face to face.

寂寞、乾渴、駭驚， 左右荊棘，前後蒺藜， 四圍仇敵陷阱。 And though the wilderness we tread,
（二） 雖然我們行在野地， And though the wilderness we tread, 寂寞、乾渴、駭驚， A barren, thirsty ground, 左右荊棘，前後蒺藜， With thorns and briars overspread, 四圍仇敵陷阱。 Where foes and snares abound.

我們卻從深處著想， 知道祢愛價值； 我們因此心裏明亮， 讚美祢恩不置。
（三） 我們卻從深處著想， Yet in Thy love such depths we see, 知道祢愛價值； Our souls o'erflow with praise - 我們因此心裏明亮， Content ourselves, while, Lord to Thee 讚美祢恩不置。 A joyful song we raise.

祢是我們生命、力量， 盾牌、磐石、詩歌， 無論怎樣把祢思想， 總叫我們快樂。
（四） 祢是我們生命、力量， Our Lord, our Life, our Rest, our Shield, 盾牌、磐石、詩歌， Our Rock, our Food, our Light - 無論怎樣把祢思想， Each thought of Thee doth constant yield 總叫我們快樂。 Unchanging, fresh delight.

（五） 可愛的主，保守我們 Blest Saviour, keep our spirits stayed 緊緊跟隨祢行， Hard following after Thee,
直到我們進入天門， Till we, in robes of white arrayed, 面見祢的榮形。 Thy face in glory see.
