2 但现在的天地，还是凭着那命存留，直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沉沦的日子，用火焚烧。 8 亲爱的弟兄啊，有一件事你们不可忘记，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。 9 主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沉沦，乃愿人人都悔改。 10 但主的日子要像贼来到一样。那日天必大有响声废去，有形质的都要被烈火销化。地和其上的物都要烧尽了。 11 这一切既然都要如此销化，你们为人该当怎样圣洁，怎样敬虔， 12 切切仰望神的日子来到。在那日天被火烧就销化了，有形质的都要被烈火熔化。 13 但我们照他的应许，盼望新天新地，有义居在其中。 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. -彼得后书 2 Peter 3:7-13

但愿赐平安的神，就是那凭永约之血使群羊的大牧人我主耶稣，从死里复活的神， 21 在各样善事上，成全你们，叫你们遵行他的旨意，又借着耶稣基督在你们心里行他所喜悦的事。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。 May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. 11 所以耶稣又对他们说，我实实在在地告诉你们，我就是羊的门， 8 凡在我以先来的，都是贼，是强盗。羊却不听他们。 9 我就是门。凡从我进来的，必然得救，并且出入得草吃。 10 盗贼来，无非要偷窃，杀害，毁坏。我来了，是要叫羊（或作人）得生命，并且得的更丰盛。 11 我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命。 12 若是雇工，不是牧人，羊也不是他自己的，他看见狼来，就撇下羊逃走。狼抓住羊，赶散了羊群。 13 雇工逃走，因他是雇工，并不顾念羊。 14 我是好牧人。我认识我的羊，我的羊也认识我。 15 正如父认识我，我也认识父一样。并且我为羊舍命。 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. 14 "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-- 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father--and I lay down my life for the sheep. -约翰福音 John 10:7-15
