No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only,, who is at the Father‘s side, has made him known -约翰福音 John 1:18

7 希西家就转脸朝墙，祷告耶和华说， 3 耶和华阿，求你记念我在你面前怎样存完全的心，按诚实行事，又作你眼中所看为善的。希西家就痛哭了。 4 以赛亚出来，还没有到中院（院或作城），耶和华的话就临到他，说， 5 你回去告诉我民的君希西家说，耶和华你祖大卫的神如此说，我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪，我必医治你。到第三日，你必上到耶和华的殿。 6 我必加增你十五年的寿数，并且我要救你和这城脱离亚述王的手。我为自己和我仆人大卫的缘故，必保护这城。 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, 3 “Remember, O LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him: 5 “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD. 6 I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’ “ -列王纪下 2 Kings 20:4-6

He prayed to the LORD, who answered him and gave him a miraculous sign. 25 But Hezekiah‘s heart was proud and he did not respond to the kindness shown him; therefore the LORD’s wrath was on him and on Judah and Jerusalem. 26 Then Hezekiah repented of the pride of his heart, as did the people of Jerusalem; therefore the LORD‘s wrath did not come upon them during the days of Hezekiah. -历代志下 2 Chronicles 32:24-26

9 希西家大有尊荣资财，建造府库，收藏金银，宝石，香料，盾牌，和各样的宝器， 28 又建造仓房，收藏五谷，新酒，和油，又为各类牲畜盖棚立圈。 29 并且建立城邑，还有许多的羊群牛群，因为神赐他极多的财产。 30 这希西家也塞住基训 的上源，引水直下，流在大卫城的西边。希西家所行的事尽都亨通。31 惟有一件事，就是巴比伦王差遣使者来见希西家，访问国中所现的奇事。这件事神离开他，要试验他，好知道他心内如何。Hezekiah had very great riches and honor, and he made treasuries for his silver and gold and for his precious stones, spices, shields and all kinds of valuables. 28 He also made buildings to store the harvest of grain, new wine and oil; and he made stalls for various kinds of cattle, and pens for the flocks. 29 He built villages and acquired great numbers of flocks and herds, for God had given him very great riches. 30 It was Hezekiah who blocked the upper outlet of the Gihon spring and channeled the water down to the west side of the City of David. He succeeded in everything he undertook. 31 But when envoys were sent by the rulers of Babylon to ask him about the miraculous sign that had occurred in the land, God left him to test him and to know everything that was in his heart. -历代志下 2 Chronicles 32:24-26

He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them. 4 He built altars in the temple of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, "My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever." 5 In both courts of the temple of the LORD, he built altars to all the starry hosts. 6 He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger. 7 He took the carved image he had made and put it in God's temple, of which God had said to David and to his son Solomon, "In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever. 8 I will not again make the feet of the Israelites leave the land I assigned to your forefathers, if only they will be careful to do everything I commanded them concerning all the laws, decrees and ordinances given through Moses." 9 But Manasseh led Judah and the people of Jerusalem astray, so that they did more evil than the nations the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites. - 历代志下 2 Chronicles 33:1-9

13 这是耶和华你们神所吩咐教训你们的诫命，律例，典章，使你们在所要过去得为业的地上遵行， 2 好叫你和你子子孙孙一生敬畏耶和华你的神，谨守他的一切律例诫命，就是我所吩咐你的，使你的日子得以长久。 3 以色列阿，你要听，要谨守遵行，使你可以在那流奶与蜜之地得以享福，人数极其增多，正如耶和华你列祖的神所应许你的。 4 以色列阿，你要听。耶和华我们神是独一的主。 These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you. 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. -申命记 Deuteronomy 6:1-4
