5 Genesis 創世記 25:24-26 24 生產的日子到了，腹中果然是雙子。 25 先產的身體發紅，渾身有毛，如同皮衣，他們就給他起名叫以掃(就是有毛的意思)。 26 隨後又生了以掃的兄弟，手抓住以掃的腳跟，因此給他起名叫雅各 (就是抓住的意思)。利百加生下兩個兒子的時候，以撒年正六十歲。 24 When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. 25 Now the first came forth red, all over like a hairy garment; and they named him Esau. 26 Afterward his brother came forth with his hand holding on to Esau’s heel, so his name was called Jacob; and Isaac was sixty years old when she gave birth to them.

26 隨後又生了以掃的兄弟，手抓住以掃的腳跟，因此給他起名叫雅各 (就是抓住的意思)。26 Afterward his brother came forth with his hand holding on to Esau’s heel, so his name was called Jacob Genesis 創世記 27:41 以掃因他父親給雅各祝的福，就怨恨雅各，心裡說：「為我父親居喪的日子近了，到那時候，我要殺我的兄弟雅各。」So Esau bore a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him; and Esau said to himself, “The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

Genesis 創世記 28: 夢見一個梯子立在地上, 梯子的頭頂著天, 有　神的使者在梯子上, 上去下來. 13 耶和華站在梯子以上(或譯:站在他旁邊), 說:「我是耶和華─你祖亞伯拉罕的　神, 也是以撒的　神;我要將你現在所躺臥之地賜給你和你的後裔. 14 你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那樣多, 必向東西南北開展;地上萬族必因你和你的後裔得福. 12 He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, “I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants. 14 Your descendants will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

10 Genesis 創世記 28:10-11, 16 10 雅各出了別是巴，向哈蘭走去； 11 到了一個地方，因為太陽落了，就在那裡住宿，便拾起那地方的一塊石頭枕在頭下，在那裡躺臥睡了， 10 Then Jacob departed from Beersheba and went toward Haran. 11 He came to a certain place and spent the night there, because the sun had set; and he took one of the stones of the place and put it under his head, and lay down in that place. 16 雅各睡醒了，說：「耶和華真在這裡 (這地方)，我竟不知道！」 16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”

48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.” 50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And He said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

18 Genesis 創世記 28:15-17 15 我也與你同在。你無論往哪裡去，我必保佑你，領你歸回這地，總不離棄你，直到我成全了向你所應許的。」 16 雅各睡醒了，說：「耶和華真在這裡，我竟不知道！」 17 就懼怕，說：「這地方何等可畏！這不是別的，乃是　神的殿，也是天的門。」 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” 16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

Genesis 創世記 28: 雅各清早起來,把所枕的石頭立作柱子,澆油在上面. 19他就給那地方起名叫伯特利(就是神殿的意思); 但那地方起先名叫路斯. 20雅各許願說:「　神若與我同在, 在我所行的路上保佑我, 又給我食物吃, 衣服穿, 21 使我平平安安地回到我父親的家, 我就必以耶和華為我的　神. 22 我所立為柱子的石頭也必作　神的殿;凡你所賜給我的, 我必將十分之一獻給你」18 So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on its top. 19 He called the name of that place Bethel; however, previously the name of the city had been Luz. 20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I take, and will give me food to eat and garments to wear, 21 and I return to my father’s house in safety, then the LORD will be my God. 22 This stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”
