何等恩友慈仁救主 What a Friend We Have in Jesus Joseph Scriven Charles C. Converse (1)何等恩友慈仁救主, 負我罪愆擔我憂; What a Friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! 何等權利能將萬事來到耶穌座前求! What a privilege to carry Ev’rything to God in Prayer! 多少平安, 我們坐失, 多少痛苦冤枉受, O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear 都是因為未將萬事, 來到耶穌座前求. All because we do not carry Ev’rything to God in prayer!

(2)我們是有無試探引誘, 有無難過苦關頭? Have we trials and temptation? Is there trouble anywhere? 決不應當因此灰心; 仍當到主座前求! We should never be discouraged Take it to the Lord in prayer. 何處能尋這般良友, 同嘗一切苦與愁? Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? 我們弱點主都知道, 放心到主座前求! Jesus know our ev’ry weakness

Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? 到祂懷中祂必保護, 有祂安慰便無憂. In His arms He’ll take and shield thee Thou wilt find a solace there. (From “讚美詩#279”)
