2 13:24耶稣对他们另外讲了一个比喻,说:“天国好像人把好的种子撒在田里。25人们睡了的时候,他的仇敌来把稗子撒在麦子中间,就走了。26到了发苗吐穗的时候,稗子也显出来。27仆人都前来问家主【田主】:‘主人,你不是把好的种子撒在田里吗？那些稗子是从哪里来的呢？’28他回答,:‘这是仇敌所作的。’仆人问他:‘你要我们去拔掉它吗？’29 他说:‘不用,因为拔稗子的时候,恐怕也把麦子连根拔出来。30收割之前,让它们一同生长。到了收割的时候,我会吩咐收割的工人先拔掉稗子,捆起来,留着焚烧,却要把麦子收进我的仓里。’” Mat 13:24 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

4 V36耶稣离开群众,进到屋里,门徒前来问他:“请你给我们解释田里稗子的比喻。”37他回答:“那撒好种子的是人子,38田就是世界,好种子就是属天国的人【天国之子】,稗子就是属那恶者的人【恶者之子】,39撒稗子的仇敌是魔鬼,收割的时候是这世代的终结,收割的工人是天使。40稗子怎样被拔掉用火焚烧,在这世代终结的时候,也是一样。41 那时,人子要差派他的使者,把一切使人犯罪的事和不法之徒【作恶的】,从他的国中拔掉,42 丢进火炉,在那里必要哀哭切齿。43那时,义人在他们父的国中,要像太阳一样的照耀【发出光】。有耳的,就应当听。 Mat 13:36 Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.“ 37 He answered, ”The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

21 Rom 3:21 现在，有律法和先知的话可以证明：上帝的义在律法之外已经显明出来，22 就是上帝的义，因着信耶稣基督，毫无区别地临到所有信的人。23 因为人人都犯了罪，亏缺了上帝的荣耀，24 但他们却因着上帝的恩典，借着在基督耶稣里的救赎，就白白地称义。 Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

50 威斯敏特信条 Westminister Confession of Faith
在1643年，查理士王（Charles）当政之时，当时的议院的议员有许多是清教徒（他们被称为清教徒，是因为他们热衷与正统的神学教义与敬虔的敬拜）。 这群清教徒是深受改教家加尔文神学的影响。他们期盼重整英国教会，于是在威斯敏特大教堂召开了一个大型的议会。

51 这议会中包括121位牧师，30位议院议员，及8位苏格兰代表。大家则一致认同改教家加尔文的观点，并否定罗马天主教及反对预定论的阿民念派。
经过三年的讨论，议会于1646年12月完成了《威斯敏特信条》，写出教会应当认信的教义。信条的内容是完整、精确、简洁、平衡的，因为每一个句子都经过小组的讨论及长久的公开的辩论。

52 这信条后来也影响了苏格兰的教会。之后也随着一些清教徒移民到美国，而成为了许多长老会的主要信条。此信条是加尔文神学，清教徒神学的结晶，共有三十三章，其特色有下列几点：
信条包含有关圣经、上帝、世人、基督、救赎、教会及末世的教导。

 （1）耶稣为我们完全守住了前约。 （2）耶稣为我们承担了违背前约所带来的咒诅与刑罚 （3） 耶稣把新约（神向亚伯拉罕和祂“后裔”立约的应许福份）白白赐下给了我们。
