Think Opposite I Corinthians 1:17-31

I Corinthians 1:17-20 17 基督差遣我，原不是為施洗，乃是為傳福音，並不用智慧的言語，免得基督的十字架落了空。 18 因為十字架的道理，在那滅亡的人為愚拙；在我們得救的人，卻為 神的大能。 19 就如經上所記：我要滅絕智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。 20 智慧人在那裡？文士在那裡？這世上的辯士在那裡？ 神豈不是叫這世上的智慧變成愚拙嗎？ 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” 20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? (NKJV)

38 你們聽見有話說：『以眼還眼，以牙還牙。』 39 只是我告訴你們，不要與惡人作對。有人打你的右臉，連左臉也轉過來由他打； 40 有人想要告你，要拿你的裡衣，連外衣也由他拿去； 41 有人強逼你走一里路，你就同他走二里 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Matthew 23:11-12 你們中間誰為大，誰就要作你們的用人。 凡自高的，必降為卑；自卑的，必升為高。 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 19:30, 20:16, Mark 10:31, Luke 13:30 然而，有許多在前的，將要在後； 在後的，將要在前. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

I Corinthians 1:21-25 21 世人憑自己的智慧，既不認識 神， 神就樂意用人所當作愚拙的道理，拯救那些信的人；這就是 神的智慧了。 22 猶太人是要神蹟，希臘人是求智慧， 23 我們卻是傳釘十字架的基督，在猶太人為絆腳石，在外邦人為愚拙； 24 但在那蒙召的，無論是猶太人、希臘人，基督總為 神的能力， 神的智慧。 25 因 神的愚拙總比人智慧， 神的軟弱總比人強壯。 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”
