3 Outline The film tells us the story of Forrest’s lifetime. When he is a child, he has leg problems and has to walk with braces (支柱) on his legs and he hardly goes to a public school because his IQ is 75. He has a kind and loving heart and knows what his limited IQ cannot. He uses his nature to be against the world’s cruelty, and he never allows his moral compass to waver. He becomes a football star when he studies in university, a hero during the Vietnam War, an excellent

From his life journey, he learns to deal with not only the prejudice, hate, hope, fears and dreams of human nature but also life and death. His triumphs become an inspiration to us all.
