3 1. 認識MEDLINE

4 醫學資料首要參考資料庫：Medline! 瞭解Medline 美國國家醫學圖書館最重要完整且發展最早的生物醫學 資料庫。
收錄1950年至今來自美國及其他70個國家出版的超過5千 種醫學期刊，超過19,000,000筆文獻記錄 資料類型:醫學期刊文獻,學術專論,會議論文資料 收錄主題範圍 基礎醫學 臨床醫學 生物科學 解剖學 醫務管理學 化學與藥物 心理學 社會醫學 生物農業與營養 醫材設備 醫事技術 醫事資訊

5 Medline重要檢索工具：MeSH MeSH：Medline的主題標題表
結構：*Influenza, Human / pc [Prevention & Control] *：表示文獻內容中討論的主要主題之一 Influenza, Human：MeSH標題，表示主題為人類的流行性感冒 / pc [Prevention & Control]：副標題SubHeading，與MeSH搭配使 用。表示該文獻討論的主題為人類流行性感冒的預防和控制 5

6 MeSH NLM在分析生物醫學方面之期刊文獻、圖書、視聽資料 、電子資源等資源的主題時，為了將同一概念用固定的 詞彙表達，於是建立一套醫學標題詞（MeSH），以達 到控制詞彙的目的。 索引專家們更在眾多標題詞中建立主題關係連結，可利 用樹狀結構圖呈現出詞彙間語義或從屬上的關係。

My Workspace- My Project, My Searches & Alerts, e TOC The Main Navigation bar replaces the Your ( via Journals), (via Books) etc browsing links. Non Ovid resources do not appear as part of database selection, they are now in External Links (for Primal Pictures etc). Searching is the same as OvidSP 2.0. Note hint text inside each Search box replaces the on screen descriptions or hints. 14

The Options menu Collapses Results Tools (Search Aid), Results Tools includes Search Information, Filter By and the My Projects rapid access area. Search Information contains elements from the original Search Aid, and elements from the Search History, Filter By includes some Limits and the frequency based filters from OvidSP 2.0. My Projects is a new feature. 36

The View Menu offers display options. Clicking the hyperlinked result title takes you to full text (when available) or reference information as a rapid choice. 39

When we first open OvidSP 3.0, but have not logged into My Account, we see the possibility of saving items to My Projects. Either by selecting multiple items with checkboxes and then choosing Add to My Projects from the top of the page, or by choosing the individual + My Projects icons, or by dragging into the My Projects area in Results Tools. 44

Select to upload a file. Up to 50Mbytes of storage is available in My Projects. Since most of the stored OvidSP items are in reality pointers back to the original data, the uploaded files (and external files) are the items which take up most space. 58

This minimizes storage overhead and Assures access is based on a current subscription Most entries are links, except for material added manually, or material added from outside OvidSP. 61
