3 現在簡單式： 說明日常生活習慣、行為、動作的 句子，都要以現在簡單式表示。

4 1. I open my book. 2. They go to a movie on Sunday. 3. We go to school every day.

5 But… 遇到第三人稱單數時，動詞要變化喔！ 請比較下面兩組句子~

6 a. I love computer games. b. He loves computer games. a. We wash dishes on Thursday. b. He washes dishes on Thursday. 有沒有發現每一組的b句中，動詞都和 a句的不一樣？

7 第三人稱單數動詞的 變化規則

8 (一)直接加s read  reads sit  sits write  writes stand  stands
eat  eats sleep  sleeps cook  cooks play  plays ride  rides roller-skates sit  sits stand  stands open  opens close  closes look  looks spell  spells talk  talks love  loves

9 (二)動詞字尾是o, s, x, ch, sh時， 則加es
do  does go  goes wash  washes teach  teaches watch  watches catch  catches

10 (三)動詞字尾是「子音+y」時， 去 y 加 ies
study  studies ＊但注意：字尾是「母音+y」時， 則直接加s。Ex: play  plays
