These we call His attributes: Revealed by God’s Revelation in His Word (John 5:39-40) 這些真實的事情我們稱為祂的屬性:是上帝在祂的話語中所啟示的 (約5:39-40).

One of the great events in the O.T. was God revealing His Glory to Moses in answer to Repentance & Prayer. 舊約中一個最偉大的事件之一, 就是上帝回應摩西的悔改和祈禱, 將祂的榮耀啟示給他.

God says: “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest” (Ex. 33:14) 上帝說: 「我必親自和你同去，使你得安息。」(出33:14) Jesus said “lo, I Am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matt. 28:20; Matt. 11:28). 耶穌說：「看哪, 我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」 (太28:20; 太11:28).

We experience God’s Glorious presence through the Holy Spirit ‘in’ us! (Hag. 2:5; John 14:15-18) 我們經由住在我們「裡面」的聖靈, 經歷上帝榮耀的同在! Moses both sees & hears God’s Glory as the LORD comes down & speaks His Word (Ex. 33:19, 22-23; Ezek. 1:28; Rev. 22:8) 當耶和華下來說話時, 摩西看見, 且聽見上帝的榮耀 (出33:19, 22-23; 結1:28; 啟22:8).

Moses must be placed in the “clift” (cleft) of the Rock to behold God’s Glory 摩西必須被放在磐石“穴”中, 來看見上帝的榮耀.

20 (34:7) The glory of God’s Justice 上帝的正義的榮耀
“By no means clear the guilty” – Are you guilty of sinning against the 1 true Sovereign God? 「萬不以有罪的為無罪」- 你向唯一真正的上帝犯罪了嗎? Why do so many people want to accept God’s mercy but reject His Justice? Why? (Rom. 3:23) 為何許多人希望接受上帝的憐憫,卻拒絕祂的正義?為何?(羅3:23)

We can reject God’s Mercy but we can’t escape God’s Justice! 我們可以拒絕上帝的憐憫, 但無法逃避祂的正義!

22 A Very Present Danger… 目前的危險
God’s glorious Justice is one of the glaring omissions in present day preaching! 上帝榮耀的正義是當今講道明顯省略缺失的! Most people don’t take God’s Judgment seriously anymore. (read Romans 2) 多數人不再嚴肅看待上帝的審判 (讀羅2章).

23 A Very Present Danger… 目前的危險
We sin against God as if we believe there are no consequences to sin! (I Cor. 11:27-31) 我們向上帝犯罪,好像我們相信罪沒有任何後果!（林前11:27-31） If you believe in A God who overlooks sin (false concept of mercy) He cannot lead you to genuine repentance. 倘若你相信的上帝是忽略罪惡的(對憐憫錯誤的觀念), 祂就無法帶領你有真心的悔改.

24 A clear Vision of God will… 對上帝清楚的看見將…
Will humble our soul (Job 1:20-22; 42:5-6). 謙卑我們的靈魂 (伯1:20-22; 42:5-6), Fill us with the Holy Spirit inspired “fear of the LORD” (Isa. 6:1-5; Dan. 10:7) 用聖靈充滿我們, 發出「對耶和華的敬畏」(賽6:1-5; 但10:7). This is the beginning of Wisdom (Prov. 9:10) 這是智慧的開端 (箴9:10).

Jesus is “… the brightness of God’s glory, & the express image of his person” (Heb. 1:3; 2 Cor. 4:6-7; John 14:9-10) 耶穌是「神榮耀所發的光輝，是神本體的真像」(來1:3; 林後4:6-7; 約14:9-10).

33 What’s the Difference Between Grace & Mercy? 恩典與憐憫的差別為何?
Grace: I get an infinite number of Blessings & good things I don’t deserve (Eph. 1:3; James 1:17). 恩典: 我獲得自己不配得到的無限祝福與美好事情 G.R.A.C.E. = God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense G.R.A.C.E= 上帝的豐富, 付上基督的代價

34 Grace is… 恩典是 God’s goodness to the unworthy 上帝對不配的人的良善. Psalm 105 records God’s Grace & goodness on Israel despite their lack of any merit 詩篇105篇記錄上帝對以色列的恩典與良善, 即便他們沒有任何功績.

35 What’s the Difference Between Grace & Mercy? 恩典與憐憫的差別為何?
Mercy: When I don’t get the Punishment or Judgment I deserve for my rebellion or sin against God (I Thess. 1:10). 憐憫: 當我悖逆或向上帝犯罪時, 我沒有得到當得的處罰或審判 (帖前1:10).

36 Mercy… 憐憫 We need Mercy when we fail to respond properly to God’s Grace. (Rom. 2:4-6) 當我們對上帝的恩典沒有給予恰當的回應時, 我們需要憐憫. We Can only Experience the Glory of God by Faith in Jesus Christ 我們只能因相信耶穌基督而經歷上帝的榮耀 (John 14:6) Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, & the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 約14:6 -耶穌說「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裡去。 (7) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also… 約14:7 -你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。」

A Personal Relationship with Jesus is essential to experiencing the glory of God 與耶穌有個人的關係是經歷上帝榮耀所不可少的 (2Cor. 4:6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 林後4:6 -那吩咐光從黑暗裡照出來的神，已經照在我們心裡，叫我們得知神榮耀的光顯在耶穌基督的面上。

It will answer some of life’s greatest Questions: 它會回答人生最大的問題: What is God really like? 上帝的真像為何? What is my purpose in Life? 我人生的目的是什麼?
