Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” 16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

22 18又說：『我要這麼辦：要把我的倉房拆了,另蓋更大的，在那裡好收藏我一切的糧食和財物,19然後要對我的靈魂說：「靈魂哪，你有許多財物積存，可做多年的費用,只管安安逸逸地吃喝快樂吧！」』
18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

28 28你們這小信的人哪！野地裡的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裡，神還給它這樣的裝飾，何況你們呢！29你們不要求吃什麼、喝什麼，也不要掛心。30這都是外邦人所求的,你們必須用這些東西，你們的父是知道的。31你們只要求他的國，這些東西就必加給你們了 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
