Courtesy Courtesy refers to the way we interact with others and our etiquette. According to Confucius, it is a supreme virtue which breeds harmony. To be courteous is to have good interpersonal skills and treat others with respect regardless of who they are.

何谓礼？ 礼是行为规范。按照社会伦理，孔子说的“君君、臣臣、父父、子子”，尊卑有序。对待别人讲求礼貌和尊重。例如对待师长要有礼貌。
