4 开发信 3页 01 邮件不要写的过长 客户在浏览邮件时留给每封邮件的时间只有2~3秒。 如果你的邮件写的像老太太的裹脚布一样又臭又长,英语表述水平有限,再加上几个MB的附件。可想而知这样开发信的结果会如何。

5 02 4页 开发信 要有明确的主题 要能吸引住客户的眼球。
少用形式化的标题:we are the manufacturer of XX, need cooperation , price list for XX- *** trading company ltd. 比较好的例子:Re: ABC inc/KOLHS vendor-glassware/DEF Co., Ltd.

7 开发信 6页 04 不要炫耀英文水平 外贸函电的精髓就是“简单简单再简单”。少用冷僻生词,各种语法从句层出不穷。多多模仿国外客人的表达方法。能让小学生都看懂的开发信才是最棒的。

9 05 7页 开发信 少用奇奇怪怪的字体 不要为了醒目而用夸张的字体,醒目的颜色,放大加粗斜体,甚至全篇大写
常用字体:Arial,Verdana,Calibri,Times new roman 颜色:一般以黑色,蓝色为主。一封邮件写的五颜六色会让人很不舒服。 一般客人在邮件中加粗,大写或者是用红色标注,那肯定是特别强调的东西。

11 06 8页 主动语态不要用的太多 开发信 在老外的邮件中, 很少会充满WE, I这样的人称。大多用的是被动语态。
例:我们会明天寄样品给你。我们常用的是“we will send the samples to you tomorrow." 而老外一般会说"The samples will be sent to you tomorrow."

12 07 9页 开发信 不要问毫无意义的问题 例:Do you want our products?
Do you interested in our products? Are you sourcing for *****? How is your business recently? Would you like to cooperate with us? 你的目的就推销你的产品,非要让客人回答是或者否, 就等于把自己逼上了绝路 开发信还是要直接一点,告诉客人你是谁,你做什么,你的优势在那里。只要清楚表述出这3点,就完全足够了。其他的东西可以以后慢慢谈。

14 开发信 9页 09 尽量不要插入URL链接 很人喜欢在邮件中加入公司的网址的链接,或者在签名中加入链接。同样这种做法被国外服务器拦截的概率也很大。 有了客人回复后, 你第二次给他写邮件插入这些就没问题了

15 开发信 10页 10 语气不能过于生硬 邮件本身就比较死板, 在电脑前阅读这些冰冷的文件,和面对面或者电话中的交谈是完全不同的。例:Pls give me reply today.与 could you help to give me reply today? 要常用please, help, kindly, could, thank you, appreciate

21 16页 开发信 1)开头Dear Sir/Madam,最好不要这样写,如果知道客人名字,最好把名字写上,会给他一种尊重的感觉。
2)I'm glad to know you. 是典型的Chinglish,就是中国式英文,尽量用欧美人的寒暄方式,不要用中国式问候硬翻成英文,很别扭的。 3)This is Tracy Lee from GF glassware factory. 这句话没错,但是为了突出工厂,最好写成GF Glassware Factory. 4)We are the producer of high quality red wine glass , white wine glass ,glass candleholders,votives,glass tableware and so on. 这句话是不是有点长?如果要写长句,最好用一下从句,结构上会比较分明,看上去舒服一点。另外producer这个词视觉冲击力没有manufacturer强。 5)I attached our e-catalog for your reference, 首先这是一整句话,最后要用句号,不是逗号。还有,你邮件里第一人称太多了,先是I,再是We,现在又是I开头的句子,句型太单调了,会让看的人觉得很无聊。如果换成"Attached our e-catalogue for your reference!"或者"Enclosed our e-catalogue for your review!"是不是会稍微好一点? 6)Any demands please kindly contact with us. 一开始就谈“需求”是不是太直接了?如果换成有任何问题,请随时联系我们,会不会更加委婉一些?
